What is in that repository that should not be?

Point it at a public GitHub repository. It looks for the boring failures behind the expensive incidents: committed secrets and keys, tracked .env files, and gitignore gaps.

Why this exists: during security work on our own client sites we found live administrator credentials and unused invite tokens publicly readable on the internet, because a storage helper defaulted to public. Real finding, real fix, our own property. This scans for exactly that class of mistake.

github.com/owner/repo works. So does owner/repo.

The scan runs in your browser, straight against GitHub. Nothing is uploaded to us, nothing is retained, and we never see the code or the results unless you send them to us yourself.

What this does not check

  • Git history. A secret removed yesterday is still in yesterday, and it is still burned. Rotate it.
  • Dependency vulnerabilities. That takes a real audit pipeline with a database behind it, not a browser tab, and pretending otherwise would be the overclaiming this site exists to criticize.
  • Your deployed site, its headers or its CORS policy. This reads the repository, not the product.
  • Private repositories. It reads only what is already public, which is rather the point.

A clean scan here is a good sign. It is not a security opinion.

A company of roughly ten to two hundred people, already running a CRM or operational system, with revenue coming through it and at least one process held together by hand. That includes agencies, whether the system is for your own operation or for a client's. Pre revenue, or want a chatbot on a marketing site? Wrong firm, and we will say so on the first reply.
